420 Salsa Verde

  • 1.5 lbs. tomatillos (green tomatoes)
  • 2 tbsp. cannabis olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped white onion
  • 2 jalapeno peppers or serano peppers (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp. fresh-squeezed lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Directions:

    First, remove the husks from the tomatillos, rinse thoroughly and place on a broiler pan with tin foil underneath. Cut tomatillos in half and place flat side down on the foil. Place in the oven on broil for 5 - 7 minutes, or until the skin just starts to turn brown/black. Take the tomatillos out of the oven, place all ingredients in a blender and blend until thoroughly mixed and one consistency. Use to garnish chicken, pork, chips, chili or anything you think it may go well with. Enjoy!
