Chuck Wagon Stew

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 tbsp. canna butter
  • 2 potatoes (peeled and diced)
  • 1/2 of a red onion (diced)
  • 2 beef bullion cubes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tomato (diced)
  • 14 oz. can of green beans (chopped into bite-size pieces)
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
  • Directions:

    Get out a large skillet and place it over medium heat. Brown the ground beef in it, while simultaneously frying the onion in the same pan as the beef. Once the beef is browned, drain fat and stir the potatoes, beef bullion and water in with the beef and onion. Open the can of green beans and drain the liquid into the pan with the potatoes, beef and other ingredients. Set the can aside for the time being. Continue to cook over medium heat until the potatoes are almost a good texture to eat. Just before they reach this point, add the green beans and diced tomato. Continue to cook for an additional 2 - 4 minutes, or until warm enough to eat. Serve and enjoy.
