Ingredients

CAKE:

  • 8 tbsp. canna butter (melted over low heat, so as not to harm the potency)
  • 1 regular package (18 oz.) yellow cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • ICING:

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 8 tbsp. canna butter
  • 1 regular (16 oz.) box powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Directions:

First preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, subsequently mixing together the three ingredients for the cake in a large mixing bowl. Get out a 13" x 9" greased baking dish and pour the cake mixture into it. In a separate mixing bowl, vigorously whip the cream cheese until it becomes fairly soft (hint: it helps to heat it up in the microwave for about 10 seconds, or let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes). Once softened, add the 2 eggs, canna butter and vanilla and mix thoroughly. Lastly add the powdered sugar to this mixture and again mix thoroughly. Spread the icing mixture over the cake batter in the pan and place in the oven for 40 to 50 minutes. You will know it's ready when the center is just a little gooey, hence the name ooey gooey butter cake.
